Getting started

Following the launch of the CytoChip in 2005 BlueGnome has assisted over 150 cytogenetics laboratories in over 35 countries to establish array based services.

BlueGnome is able to offer training programmes at its laboratory in Cambridge, UK or on site anywhere in the world. Where possible training is undertaken using cellular material provided by the customer. Training takes place over two days with two bench spaces available.

A training database is offered along with BlueFuse software to allow customers to become familiar with the interpretation of arrayCGH profiles and the calling of cases.

Following training it is usual for BlueGnome to provide remote assistance in the interpretation of initial cases until customer scientists are confident to do this unaided.

24sure is now established in a network of IVF centres and service laboratories following BlueGnome training.
